canadave Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 Hi all,Just noticed something that I'm not quite understanding...perhaps someone more educated on the subject can enlighten me.I'm running a WRT54GL router with Tomato firmware, set to max 4000 incoming connections. My uT is set for 3000 max incoming connections. When I run uT and am downloading from various sources, I can still browse webpages just fine. However, there is ONE page in particular that slows to a crawl: my cPanel page to administer my sites on my webhost.Normally I can access my cPanel page (over https) in an instant. When running uT, it slows to a crawl--it takes almost a full minute to access the page. As soon as I quit uT, the page is accessible as normal.My question is: is there some reason why just this one page would suddenly be slow under uT, and all other web pages are fine? Does it have anything to do with the fact that the page is accessed securely via https?Thanks,Dave
