gensuke72 Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 I've just tried to download a torrent with utorrent 0.9.0.4 and the the torrent name seems to be blank.The files within the torent are blank as well.After a while utorrent outputs an error saying that the filenames are too long.I've just inspected the torrent using utorrent for windows and the filenames for the torrent and for the files within the torrent are 80 characters long. Maybe we need a quick fix.From another point of view, considering that there are a lot of bullshits in the filenames like "downloaded from www.something.com" "shared by someone and someone else", it would also be a good thing to be able (on both windows and OSX) to filter this shit out using regexp and shrink the file names automatically when writing to the filesystem.My 2 cents.
