Ultima Posted September 10, 2007 Report Share Posted September 10, 2007 Peer Guardian blocks globally. ipfilter.dat blocks only for µTorrent.Peer Guardian performs auto-updates on the list. ipfilter.dat is static unless you edit it (or have some external updater).Peer Guardian's default lists generally block TOO MANY legitimate IPs. ipfilter.dat only blocks what you tell it to block (though I guess you can make it overkill as well if you wanted).
