Is connecting to only a few seeds normal? (1/35 seeds, 6/8 peers)

Hi all, my torrents have been set up fine, I've been using them for a long while. I can download most torrents with fast speeds, and my share ratio is over 1.2. But I'm trying to download a torrent at the moment, where everyone appears to be stuck at 45%. There is one seed I'm connected to. I hardly ever download of it, he's uploading at a few KBs a second. But the rest of the swarm grabs what they can of the seed, and share it. So we're all at the same level. At this rate, should be done in a few weeks ><

But the torrent says there are 35 seeds available. Why can't I connect to any of them? My network and settings are fine, so is this just normal?

If the seeds are firewalled, they are very hard to connect to...probably IMPOSSIBLE if you are also firewalled.

The high seed count could also be due to a single seed changing its ip address regularly...or buggy tracker/s.
