moogly
Stop the torrent job, right click on it, force a re-check and restart the torrent. It would be enough to resume the dwld if your HD is safe after your power issue.
neodark
it wont resume, i had to locate the broken file and delete it.. now its up again.. this would be a nice feature built into utorrent on the next release
moogly
Which feature ?If the file is corrupt, you have an hardware issue, it's not uT.
Firon
Only chkdsk /R can find bad sectors. But you have to specifically call the /R flag for it to scan for bad sectors, though it's still probably not the best choice.
tauri_7
Any file that I am trying to download from any torrent site is starting dnl but after some seconds it appears a msg which says: "Torrent Error- access to the file is not permitted". Does anybody know what the problem is and how can I solve it? Thank you.
moogly
@tauri_7: Please post your own thread, especially when the issue is different.Check the rights of the folder where are your data, you need to have read/write rights, not only read-only.Then post an Hijackthis log.
