MrWhitekeys Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 This is a problem that has just started recently. It affects my desktop which nothing has changed much on, with up to date anti-virus, anti-spyware, and anti-adware. I've been using utorrent for more thatn a year with no problems. Suddenly now though nothing will download. No setting have changed, I didn't update utorrent, I can see there are seeds and peers on torrent, I've tried well known fast torrents, The files say downloading and have the blue arrow next to them, but nothing gets downloading , and there is nothing in the peer list. any help is appreciated
Firon Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 http://www.slackware.com/getslack/Do any torrents from here work?
Firon Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 What firewall do you have? What antivirus are you using? What is your net.max_halfopen set to?
Switeck Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Possibly the sign of a broken LSP chain or worse...You'll need the best antivirus and antispyware you can find as well as possibly repairing the LSP chain with LSP fix.
MrWhitekeys Posted January 19, 2009 Author Report Posted January 19, 2009 firewall is windows firewall, and AVG antivirus. net.max_halfopen is 8. I dont think its any of those because it was working with those settings before and none of them has changedAlso I dont have any other network applications that have been effected.
