Hi everybody. Have noticed a problem. I get the red exclamation mark on the lower window, sometimes the yellow triangle, but never anymore the green circle.

Am using version 1.8.1

I've forwarded my port long ago as advised in portforward.com

have downloaded utorrent ultra accelerator

Now, although I have the red exclamtion mark, my download speed nonetheless is at 20kb/s, but I'm used to 250kb/s.

When I check to see if my port is forwarded correctly, utorrent tells me it is not.

I even changed my port to 55555 and changed that in my modem too (zyxel prestige 623 ME)

can anybody help?

Likely part of your problem. This is a 3rd party program that does nothing at best and is malware at worst.

Do you have a firewall installed? What antivirus do you use?

Hi Firon, embarrassing, but I found the problem...

I added an incorrect IP-number in my modem/router (here): http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/ZyXEL/Prestige623ME/Utorrent.htm

Now the correct number is there, and I'm all green.

2nd links in my signature, check your uTorrent settings...just getting a green light probably won't be enough to go from <20 KB/sec speeds to 200+ KB/sec speeds.
