It has a gazillion topics about it.At high speeds (10+ mb/s) µTorrent might overload your disc (reading and writing at so many places at the same time and at high speed that your disc can't keep up). Tweaking the different cache settings can help. Please make sure you are using the latest µTorrent version too because iirc there were some bugs related to this in older µTorrent versions. torrent_bigfish Posted April 12, 2009 Report Share Posted April 12, 2009 My intuition said same thing , DL and UL speed get dramatically down ... so I manually paused 2/3 of my DL torrents for a few seconds ...when the 1/3 lasting torrents speeded up again I released the others gradually ...
