papaver Posted January 19, 2009 Report Share Posted January 19, 2009 Is there anything that can be done about the high CPU usage when using uTorrent and Kerios WinRoute 6.5.2 together? There's alot of info about Kerios Personal Firewall, but not much about Kerios WinRoute. I realize that it may be one of those incompatible softwares, but figured I'd ask anyway since I already have it installed. Whenever I start downloading a torrent with uTorrent my gateway computer with Kersio on it starts eating around 70-90% CPU. As soon as I stop uTorrent the CPU goes back to normal. Thanks much. Ultima Posted January 19, 2009 Report Share Posted January 19, 2009 If there is some kind of Internet/browser/HTTP/web filter that comes with WinRoute, either add µTorrent to any exceptions list that the firewall may have, or disable the filter entirely.
