AndiNRU
I just got my new router set up with my new computer. The computer is Vista and I have done the net_max and the TCPIP.sys.I upload at over 100 kb but I don't download. I have seen 40 kb but it doesn't maintain it, 20 kb is about all I get. I have turned off Upnp, Nat, in Utorrent. I have port forwarded in the modem. Before port forwarding I had a yellow triangle, now I have a red listen error.I have given the computer a static IP address, I have done port forwarding in the virus firewall on the computer. I have no idea where else to go. Also, my PSP and Wii will connect to the modem and tell me there is an internet connection but when I try to connect to the internet or get a system update they fail. I don't know if that helps but I am at a loss. I think I have scoured the internet for all the ideas people have. All ideas welcome thank you,AndiOk I just went line by line through the advanced and found the IP was set to the old IP. Setting up to the new static IP I get the green go light. But still no speed in downloading. DHT is off. I up to 50 kb consistantly now, and with one torrent running, 50 seed/peers of 32000 seed/peers.
Switeck
1st and 2nd link in my signature.1st one is for troubleshooting, and tells you what information you'll need to give us if the problem isn't solved quickly.2nd link gives suggested settings for uTorrent based on your max sustainable UPLOAD speed.NOTE: Max sustainable UPLOAD speed is far less than max download speed for most connections.
