DreadWingKnight
So you have your client set to upload at twice your connection's rated speed then?
Switeck
Lower your settings to 640 kilobit/second UPLOAD settings from my speed guide (2nd link in my signature.)You may need to lower global and per-torrent connection max further due to using wireless. RAFFY
Response to DreadWingKnight: after posting i realized i made a mistake after looking a couple other random threads so i changed my speed to the 640kb/s configuration.Response to Switeck: I did both of those and the problem still persists any suggestions? xlemonx1
Is this happening on all downloads?
RAFFY
Response to xlemonx1: Yes sometimes my downloads will spike up to 300kb/s to 350kb/s only for a brief minute or two. Im am downloading from sources that have literally thousands of peers and seeds yet i only connect to about 20-40 of them and get slow speeds. Switeck
Experiment with encryption settings:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=361747#p361747(Note: My post immediately following that one explains what settings in uTorrent are similar to the Azureus ones.)Is DHT (both kinds) disabled? If the torrent/s are public ones, definitely leave Peer Exchange enabled. Even if not, Peer Exchange won't have any effect on private torrents nor use more bandwidth.

Switeck
http://www.portforward.com ROUTERS section lists both routers and modems that have NAT (router) features. Did you check to see if your router and modem was on their list?
