Aeropars
Hi Guys,I've never had any problems until recently and nothing has changed.I'm using Vista Home Premium and have patched the TCPIP.sys file as suggested. My connection is a 10mb down and 512kb up so have set the following settings within UTorrent:║CONNECTION TYPE ║ UPLOAD ║CONNECTIONS║MAX ACTIVE║║(UPLOAD MAXIMUM)║Limit│Slots║ Torr│ MAX ║Torr│Down.║║ 512 kbit/sec ║ 47│ 4║ 40│ 100║ 4│ 2║I start off getting pretty good speeds (upto 400kb per sec downloads) but then it tails off and I end up downloading at about 10kbs. browsing is then non existant and eventually my cable modem will crash. I know its the cable modem because if i reboot it the connection comes back and the cycle starts again. My router doesnt get touched. My ISP is Virgin Media however I have a colleague who uses them as well and has no problems and he's used the default UTorrent settings.I've follwed the guides and still the problem presists. Can anyone help me out? I'm at my wits end with this! Thanks in advance.

Aeropars
Hiya,Yes, i tried the signature links. I've dropped my connections to 80 and an upload speed of 17kb/ps in an attempt so find where the problem is. After I launched utorrent i was downloading at 400 kb but then is slowed right down and the entire internet grinds to a halt.I know its not the ISP as i know plenty of people using bittorrent with no problem. Thanks
