infuriated_rain
hey guys, i just got a new computer today with windows vista. when using my computer with xp earlier, all worked fine. i set my static ip correctly, and nothing should have changed with my router regarding my port forwarding, yet it still wont let me connect. when i go to speed guide and check the port, it says it wont allow me to connect... any ideas why? i checked firewall settings and all are allowing utorrent! moogly
What is your firewall ? Windows FW ?Did you check if your port forwarding rule is OK (good port number, good local IP) and didn't change ?

moogly
Yes McAfee can be the culprit especially the SpamKiller module.NB: I thought about your port forwarding rule in your router to open a port for uT.In addition you can post the Hijackthis & Process Explorer logs.Guide: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=29748DON'T forget to select utorrent.exe and enable DLL mode (ctrl+d) in Process Explorer.
