esmo Posted January 24, 2009 Report Share Posted January 24, 2009 hi allI got my new pc few days ago and installed Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP1and i'm using uTorrent 1.8.1now for some reason its going into sleep mode even when i'm downloading with uTorrentthe option "Prevent standby if there are active torrents" is ONi looked at the internet and found a settinggpedit.msc > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Power Management > Sleep Settings > Turn on Application to Prevent Sleep Transitions (Plugged In) > [Enabled]I made it enabled, restarted the computer and tried it out(configured in power settings to turn off monitor, hard drive & sleep after 1 minute)but it still didn't work. after 1 minute the computer went to sleep while there are active torrentsI couldn't find anything else on the internet about this issueit seems to work for other people with vistacan anyone help me out with it?thanks in advance-EsMo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
