Newie
What am I doing wrong?I search for a file, see that there are 100's if not 1000's of seeders, yet when I want to download it, it says 0 seeders, 0 peers in utorrent. I haven't been able to downlaod anything.I have read several sites and forums about seeders. And all say:Find 1 with many seeders. Firewall is off, infact, i got no protection at all.Do I need to change a setting or something?HELPNewie

cameron.says.hey
First off, you should have automatic updates turned on... It's just bad practice to open your computer to a world full of rootkits, attacks due to unstealthed ports, malware, worms, trojans, you shouldn't even need to turn off windows firewall. I know your on XP but what SP are you using? Start->run->winver. Are you using the latest version of µTorrent (Beta or Alpha)? Make sure you have the latest drivers and updates for windows. Do you have a router? What kind of connection/network do you have? what time is it there..Jk.
