nouhad
Could i request a feature whereby the torrents which you are downloading can be renamed in the queue itself ?
Firon
You mean changing the name in the listview?
nouhad
yeah. I thought the label feature was for that but it turns out it isn't. For example if a torrent is called "Linux blah blah blah" in list view could we have a feature to change it to whatever we want? Thanks alot. tjobo
Is that really necessary? I dont keep my time looking at torrent view.
jhn195
I agree with this, the name might as well appear properly especially if you have renamed the folder in the torrent.
raboof
I also would like this feature. As another case, sometimes torrents have names like "episode 1" (episode 1 of what?) or something highly non-descriptive - it would be nice to change it to something that is meaningful to the user. Labels are good for making the categories but changing the name would add yet another level of organization. Also, I know it has been asked but it is somewhat related: how about also allowing the user to change the physical filenames too? Don't mean to cross-post requests, but it's related to organization :-)Thanks!

shkbobo
you can rename a single file.....i saw we can't remane a folder and the files inside the folders....is this what you want?I think he meant just the literal title in the uTorrent list, because his torrents are hard to distinguish. But your idea is great too! Sometimes I change my mind about the path half way into the torrent and I definately can't stop/restart. Good idea! =D
Hochler
This is a great feature. Many times when I am downloading a TV Show season it will only show up as "Season 2" which can be confusing when downloading multiple seasons from different shows. Wobbud
This would be a pretty helpful feature. For example if a torrent is called "Linux blah blah blah" in list view could we have a feature to change it to whatever we want?Great euphamism: "Linux blah blah blah" = "Debbie Does Dallas 16"

Fungi_From_Youggoth
If the request for dual - for both renaming the torrent, and the files included as well, I'm all in.In the sort of person that hates having a lot of files with strange names lying around on my disk, so usually I rename the files as soon as they've uploaded 120% ... If I could rename the files, I would probably keep sharing the a lot longer.FFY

Ultima
I didn't look too hard, but it doesn't appear to have been added on NiteShdw's request voting page. I guess someone can add it.
