steevee
Have used uTorrent for a couple of years with no problems. Now, in the last couple of weeks, when I start it I get a dialog box which says "This program is freeware. If you paid for it, you have been scammed, and you should get a refund". I never had this message before. At the same time a message appears from Spyware Detector, which says: "Network Monitor. Suspicious network connection was established to the 82.98.86.177 IP Address. Spyware Detector has terminated the connection." And promptly shuts down uTorrent.Any ideas please? Thanks for any help. Steve

steevee
Thanks. Really helpful. I excluded the IP address from being blocked by Spyware Detector and the "This program is freeware. If you paid for it, you have been scammed, and you should get a refund" dialog box has also disappeared (and UTorrent opens fine!). Steve
