iain7
Hey guys, I just downloaded a folder nearly 9GB in size, it took me over a week aloong with 2 other torrents. When it finally finished, I checked the downloads folder and there was nothing there! I have searched my entire hard disk and there is not one trace of any of the files remaining. I deleted the torrent, but why is the data gone? Thanks for your time.
DreadWingKnight
Did you delete torrent + data?
iain7
no, I didn't! and this is the strangest part -just looked in the recycle bin. SOME of the files are there, ~40% of them and the torrent. So I've loaded them back into utorrent and its downloading from what I've got...Even if I did select torrent + data, why would half of the files be in the recycle bin? DreadWingKnight
Because the other half wouldn't fit most likely.
iain7
thanks a bunch, my hand must have slipped then, it's the only explanation I can think of :SStrange, tho, other torrents I've deleted didn't go to the recycle bin.

DreadWingKnight
then somewhere along the way, a modifier key got stuck and caused the delete data.
