Do you have a router between the Motorola and your computer? If so, what router?

Either way, though, Motorola's SurfBoard modems are known to cause port forwarding issues for many users (search the forum for surfboard* for proof of that). Honestly, I haven't seen/heard/thought of any workaround outside of simply replacing the modem, assuming it is blocking ports.
