Johannes Langøy
I've disabled Windows Firewall and I don't run any external firewall. What could be the cause?I've read everything available at utorrent.com.I'm running on Vista, and I have a Motorola SB5101E modem. Please ask if you need any more information.
Ultima
Do you have a router between the Motorola and your computer? If so, what router?Either way, though, Motorola's SurfBoard modems are known to cause port forwarding issues for many users (search the forum for surfboard* for proof of that). Honestly, I haven't seen/heard/thought of any workaround outside of simply replacing the modem, assuming it is blocking ports.

Ultima
... Do you mean WRT54G...? I've never heard of a WRT5FG...At any rate, have you configured it to forward the correct port?
Johannes Langøy
Yes, I meant WRT54G. I've tried, but http://192.168.1.1 in any browser only says the page can't be found. Yes, that's the correct gateway. Which is why I assumed I didn't have to.
