savir12491 Posted February 2, 2009 Report Share Posted February 2, 2009 Help!!!I have a new router D-Link Xtreme Gaming N and a motorola cable modem thru Time Warner Cable. I'm constantly getting an error message while downloading a torrent. The message is "Access is Denied". I've read the FAQ and have tried those solutions to no avail. I've also done port forwarding to my router. Funny thing is that I'm able to download a torrent using my in-laws desktop computer which is at the other end of my house. I'm pretty sure it's doesn't have anything to do with my router. I've also disabled my firewall and anti-virus software with no luck. I'm using Windows Vista and am using toxic torrents. BTW, my in-laws didn't do the port forwarding and are using XP and it downloaded very quickly.
