torr2
Could anybody advice me a solution for utorrent hangs under Windows XP Professional 32-bit?It is heavy loaded utorrent client with hundreds active seeds. Several day ago it is starts to hang all disk operations and doen't respond to "Terminate Process" clicks. All other task running this time fine, no any issues. Moreover, I unable to reboot the PC, only one solution found - to power cycle. I note thats hangs usually happens when huge HDD IO starts - i.e. few HDTV downloads simultaneously begin. Does somebody see similar problem? Does somebody solve this in any way?P.S. utorrent 1.8.1 on Intel core2 duo and ICH7. all latest drivers. schnurlos
What are your ISP speeds (perhaps disk overload due to fast ISP)?What are your settings in utorrent (do they correspond with your speeds and the setup guide http://www.utorrent.com/setup_guide.php )?Did you try the last stable build 1.8.2 too (only the last build will be assisted)? torr2
Yes, I have a fast internet connection (100M+) and all unlimited utorrent speed settings. I just download and install 1.8.2 version and disable an encryption (was - enable). Now sitting and watching I come back when it crash again. Does any additional info required? I ready to provide it.Thanks!

Switeck
Just because your connection's very fast doesn't mean your networking hardware and/or software can keep up with it...without crashing.1st link in my signature.
