DreadWingKnight Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 ISP interference. Time-of-day throttling.
sickoclown Posted February 4, 2009 Author Report Posted February 4, 2009 is there any way to stop this happening?
Switeck Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 BT Central ADSL ISP in the UK's manner of throttling is to throttle both BitTorrent traffic they recognize AND (almost?) all non-HTTP traffic. It is extremely unlikely to avoid that...other than leaving that excuse for a ISP for a much better ISP.Do lots of research before choosing any "ISP"!You could go from bad to worse (almost any Carphone Warehouse-based ISP is terrible).
