Trufant Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 Well, I downloaded uTorrent and kept getting the whole "ERROR: Access is Denied" message, which I don't exactly know why, but perhaps it is because my ratio is off and I can't increase my upload speed, so they cancel it? Anyway, I tried changing ports and forwarding said ports, but when I check them through uTorren'ts application, they randomly open and close. (going through a router BTW, Linksys BEFVP41) and I just have no idea what to do to increase my upload speed. should I switch to a static IP?Thank you.EDIT: I'm using comcast, do they block Seeding? Switeck Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 The "ERROR: Access is Denied" message is caused by software on your computer blocking uTorrent from access the torrent files.1st link in my signature.ComCast severely cripples seeding in SOME areas at peak hours.
