pedroconejo
All my torrents continue to download even though they were completed days, even weeks ago. It's not much, only a rate of about 2kB/s in total but over the course of a day it can add up to as much as 500mB additional space taken from my harddrive each day. I want to continue seeding but am getting very low on available harddrive space. What is being downloaded and is there a way I can continue seeding but stop individual torrents from downloading even that tiny amount? pedroconejo
"does space actually disappear from your disk?"Indeed it does. If I restart the computer, that space will be reallocated back. If I leave uTorrent running all day however then I will often return to a "Startup Disk Full" message. This is typically if I have only 1gB or less of free space to begin with.Obviously the best solution is to just dump excess files onto an external HD and clear up some space so it isn't an issue. But I thought it might be an interesting question to pose to the forum.
