bhbrown8
i'm attempting to download a file in the 40GB range. When I woke up this morning, my hard drive was almost maxed out (had little more than enough free space available before starting). I was astonished, based on my internet connection speed. The odd thing is, the BitTorrent client is telling me there is very low progress, but the incomplete files are around 35GB. What am I missing? Is it possible I actually downloaded that much and BitTorrent is reading the percentage wrong. Or is it more likely that there is something wrong with the incomplete files? I checked multiple locations, including Disk Utility, and the files definitely are taking up that much space. Or is there something with compression and decompression involved? DreadWingKnight
You're missing the fact that uTorrent doesn't download, nor does it allocate in a linear fashion.I would only be concerned if the incomplete file was larger than the torrent's total size.
