Option to have incomplete files have the .!ut extension

I'm new to macs so if this is really noob please excuse me! (I've been a windows user for quite some time now)

I have my windows version set to add the .!ut extension to the end of files it has not downloaded correctly - again another quick reference to see what files have completed.

Also apologies for the multiple posts - but its a case of posting when I notice (and it keeps the subject 'on topic' so to speak)

Individual threads per request is preferred.

And this option will be done at some point; Anything in windows that can feasibly be used in Mac will be implemented.
