michaelc123 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 HiI wonder could anyone help in this.I want to run an AVG command line scan when a download finishes ....I've written a small .bat file which runs fine when I manually run it:"C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\AVGSCANX.EXE" /scan="C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Download.Files\UDownloadComplete" /arc /heur /clean /trashNow I can run this manually fine and it does the job. However, uTorrent does not seem to run it at the end even though the logger says it is executing:[2009-02-11 13:58:09] Moving files from 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Download.Files\UDownloads\UB40-Love_Songs-2009-ONe' to 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Download.Files\UDownloadComplete\UB40-Love_Songs-2009-ONe'[2009-02-11 13:58:10] Executing: C:\Program Files\0MiscBatFiles\AVG_DL_Finished.batAny ideas? I'm running uT 1.1.1 and Wind XP Pro SP3Any pointers appreciated!
DreadWingKnight Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 You are using an archaic and completely unsupported uTorrent version.
michaelc123 Posted February 11, 2009 Author Report Posted February 11, 2009 Damm typo! I'm using uT v1.8.1 Sorry!
DreadWingKnight Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Did you try putting the command to execute in quotes?
michaelc123 Posted February 12, 2009 Author Report Posted February 12, 2009 Thanks for that tip. Got it working. Abondoned the .bat file entirely and just pasted the full command line (inc. AVG parameters) into the Run Program box in uTorrent:"C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\AVGSCANX.EXE" /scan="C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Download.Files\UDownloadComplete" /arc /heur /clean /trashThanks for your help.
