sanyi007 Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 Hi all!I have a big question about the web-seed function.I'm making a torrent file with these web seeds:http://sanyi007.110mb.com/redir1.phphttp://sanyi007.110mb.com/redir2.phphttp://sanyi007.110mb.com/redir3.phpThe first and the third ones are direct links through proxies. The first one is this:http://flyproxy.com/nph-proxy.pl/010110A/http/www.upmega.com/files/8/72anaeqbfc7f5g/span_cs_www.egyklikkfilmek.tk.aviMy question is this: if the client can handle redirection (see on redir2.php, it works even in web-seed, and it is redirected to a direct link), then why can't it handle files through proxies? They are also direct links. Are there any possibility to make it work? I use it this way, because the file hosters are giving direct link to ip, and if i use them through proxy they work flawlessly for everyone. So where is the mistake? Why can't it handle the file? I hope someone has the answer.
Ultima Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 Maybe the proxy is blocking it? Maybe the proxy requires some additional header information? There's no reason µTorrent should even know which sites serve as proxies for other links, so there's no reason it should be able to differentiate on its own.
