brother809
Hi.I have been using utorrent for a couple of months now and today my download speed has gone really slow (0.1kb/s), normally my download speed would be 50kb/s-500kb/s. Anyone know why this is been happening? I have been downloading this torrent for two days and have had no problems ( I didn't leave my computer all night). But when i checked today there was a red arrow and the speed was really slow. I updated utorrent today and i also updated my Norton Antivirus today as well. Could Norton Antivirus be the problem? I am currently on 20.8% Anyone who could help me with this problem will receive my eternal gratitude.P.S my utorrent version is 1.8.2 and my Norton Antivirus is 16.2.0.7My Logger says 'Error opening Windows firewall 0x80070005 access is Denied'
Switeck
Norton may be a problem in general...but not necessarily in your case.Did you tell it to redetect uTorrent?'Error opening Windows firewall 0x80070005 access is Denied' can appear if you don't have Windows Firewall enabled.Did you try the 1st and 2nd links in my signature?Do note that MANY ISPs throttle/disrupt BitTorrent traffic during peak evening hours, some even try to kill it entirely. Have you done internet searches (and asked locally) about yours?
brother809
I have read your first two links. I have tried to find my problem on google, but no success. I have enabled my windows firewall and i still can't download my torrent. It has been two days so far since my problem and i still can not download my torrent. Norton Antivirus has didn't ask em to redetect utorrent.
Switeck
Re-enable Windows Firewall if it is disabled and uninstall Norton. That is assuming you already did some of what was asked in 1st and 2nd links in my signature...and they didn't help.Note the availability and seeds/peers on your torrents. If availability is low, you may not be able to download the torrent!
brother809
I can't check my peers/seeds. But on the Trackers tab it says:http;//bt.cartoonpalace.net:6969/announce "status= offline (Timed Out)"[Peer Exchange] "Status=not allowed"[Local Peer Discovery] "Status=not allowed"[DHT] "Status=not allowed"
Switeck
So it's a private torrent that has its tracker down, doesn't allow any other form of connection to other peers/seeds...and strangely enough you're not getting any other peer/seed connections on it?The problem may not be on your computer, contact that tracker's owners/maintainers.
