rafi
Looks like the RSS "smart episodes filter" ignores the defined episodes range. Example: when defining 1X19-30 episode 1X18 was downloaded. Please allow to define episodes ALSO in the format: 1X01-2X22 , so it will not be required to replace the filter every season...edit: Seems that I can' reproduce it... Maybe I was wrong ...
boo
I have yet to use the RSS for downloading series so I don't know about this bug.But I think that your idea about being able to define several seasons is a good idea, but maybe it should look like this instead: 1-2x1-
rafi
whatever... Also keeping the old format as a valid one will be good for backward compatibility.I warmly recommend that you try it. It is VERY convenient!
boo
the thing is that I wait for a whole season to finish before I like at a serie, therefore I have very little use of the smart episode filter. And about my suggestion of format, I personally think it is much easier to code my format, atleast it is like that in Java and Lua. rafi
just curious - 1-2x1-22 is s1xe1 -> s2xe22? or s1 & s2 e1-22 each ?
boo
it depends on how you want it, it can be s1e1 to s2e22 OR it can be s1e1 to s1e22 and s2e1 to s2e22.But because of season sometimes has +/- one episode, s1e1 to s2e22 would be the best. rafi
So, did anyone confirm this ?
Ultima
Looks like it already is a confirmed problem, since it's in the Todo section of the forum =P
rafi
hmm, sorry...
Ultima
Why apologize? I didn't notice the Todo section of the forum at first either =|Must've been Firon after he got his Admin powers... when did this all happen anyway? I never noticed... By the way, congrats on the promotion, Firon =P
rafi
Firon ? Admin powers ? todo list ? looks like uT has a chance to clean all it's bugs now, with this todo section ... so , did anyone tell ludde about this list ?
Ultima
I'm sure ludde already knows. They communicate with each other on IRC anyhow, and ludde is the only one who could've given Firon administrative priveleges.
mrb1ue
I've been thinking about these episode numbers as well. Something else I think would be nice in addition to existing single episode and range possibilities, how about just a starting episode. So you could specify something like: 1x14- which could mean any episode from Season 1 Ep 14 and newer? That way you wouldn't have to worry about next season or if you have the episode numbers high enough. Or is this how it works today when you just enter a single episode number?Also/or (as I continue to think) what about multiple sets of ranges like 1x14-22,2x1-23. Not sure if that would really be useful with what's already capable and if the starting range feature was added, but just throwing out ideas.
