Error: Access is denied

Okay, i tried everything i could but couldnt get a clue for the problem. Been through the FAQs and the forum but couldnt get the answer.

I am running Vista on my system and whenever i try to run a torrent, i came across this error. This has never happened before on my laptop(which also runs the same OS) or other systems i used for years. Would really be grateful if could help me out out this...

Where are you saving to?

I am saving the torrents in D drive(backup drive of 10GB space, free 6.57GB) this time than C(222GB, free 150GB).

What filesystem is the drive?

If it's NTFS, have you validated the permissions on it?

Never thought of that...

I have made the modifications in the security settings from the drive properties and its now back to normal.
