michael2005
Ok i have multiple machines on my network, including an xbox 360. now when i plug my system using utorrent directly into the dsl modem and port forward it tears up and hauls butt to use all the bandwith, which is fine, i like hiding behind a router. plus i dont wanna change cables to switch over to the xbox 360. problem is. some of the torrents with like 1200 seeders, download real fast for a couple of minutes and then slow down to a crawl. i was looking on the internet and was told or discovered that utorrent uses what is called a point system, and apparently when your using a router or gateway then the points are not calculated correctly, anyone know how i can fix this? Switeck
And more connections at once certainly isn't always better -- eventually you reach a point where something in your networking hardware or software fails often EVEN if there's spare bandwidth!
