Cannot update original post and bring it to top!

Hi All,

I've just lost a detailed update I tried to post as a 'reply' on my original thread of a couple of days ago because it wouldn't let me "double post". I edited the original previously but still had no replies so I thought if I gave more info as to what I had done/found since posting it might be helpful to others and others may be able to help me after all.

Ok, so I clicked on 'back' only to find my long update had gone! FFS!!

If what I am asking/pointing out as my problem is beyond help here then can someone please advise so I can resign myself to that fact and get on with trying to sort it out without really knowing what to do.
