Shadow780 Posted February 20, 2009 Report Share Posted February 20, 2009 Hi guys I ran into this weird problem out of nowhere that whenever I started downloading the open port test always failed. When I'm not downloading or utorrent is not running the port forwarding test always shows success.I've set up a static ip using the guide from portforwarding.com and followed router-specific instructions (I'm using DGL-4300) on how to open port. Now the weird thing is even though I've got port forwarding error when starts downloading, I still got good speed (100~300k/s) but not as much as before this problem started, and my status bar is showing network is okay with a green check.Any helps will be appreciated, Thanks.I'm on Roadrunner turbo (10M) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted February 21, 2009 Report Share Posted February 21, 2009 Your uTorrent settings are possibly overloading your connection, thus causing port forwarding checks (which need to make additional connection/s) to fail.1st and 2nd links in my signature.
