vaderfet
I've tested my upload speed at speedtest.net (while not using utorrent) and I'm at around 2 Mbps up average. Download is 20 Mbps. When seeding torrents though the highest I can reach is 230 kBps.I have trouble browsing while using utorrent at that speed.I've tried everything in the speed help threads with no success.I've read information that said it's probably my router not being able to handle that many connections at once, but I get the same problem when only seeding one file to one person also.Is it possible to achieve 2 Mbps up with utorrent or am I hoping for too much?If I can't get that kind of upload speed with utorrent I may as well go back to the lower speed deal with my ISP (road runner btw). ssianky
> Is it possible to achieve 2 Mbps up with utorrent or am I hoping for too much?I think you misunderstood what means Mb/s (mega bits per second) and KB/s (kilo bytes per second) 2 mega bits = 256 kilo bytes. 230 KB/s is close to your maximum upload.> I have trouble browsing while using utorrent at that speed.Yeah. You are using all your resources for torrents. Set maximum upload/download to 90% of maximum. 10% of your bandwidth is enough for simple browsing. Switeck
2nd link in my signature.Try the 2 megabit/second upload settings but raise max upload speed and/or alternate upload speed while only seeding to 230 KB/second.Best to upload a little slower while downloading, so maybe only 200 KB/second then.
