Skavin Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 I am running 1.8.2 under wine and am having issues with local peer discovery.I am running utorrent under wine on a server with multiple IPs.I have configured utorrent to bind to a specific IP but peer discovery does not bind to this IP.there are other instances of utorrent run by other users this is confusing utorrent as 3 processes bind to the same port udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:6771 0.0.0.0:* 8543/wineserverudp 0 0 0.0.0.0:6771 0.0.0.0:* 3906/wineserverudp 0 0 0.0.0.0:6771 0.0.0.0:* 3757/uTorrent.execan utorrent be configured to bind to one IP for peer discovery? Firon Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 Wine probably doesn't support the way we bind IPs. You'd have to force Wine to do it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Skavin Posted February 26, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 it is binding to the specified ip on the torrent port and 1900 what ever that is, just not for local descovery.tcp 0 0 202.37.22.72:40123 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 3857/uTorrent.exetcp6 0 0 :::40123 :::* LISTEN 3857/uTorrent.exeudp 0 0 202.37.22.72:40123 0.0.0.0:* 3857/uTorrent.exeudp 0 0 202.37.22.72:1900 0.0.0.0:* 3857/uTorrent.exeudp 0 0 0.0.0.0:6771 0.0.0.0:* 3857/uTorrent.exeudp6 0 0 :::40123 :::* 3857/uTorrent.exe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Firon Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 Okay, gotcha. Confirmed this behavior on Windows. Both LPD and the WebUI are binding incorrectly.Thanks for the report! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
