uTorrent freezes whole computer.

When I set max. connected peers per torrent "100" uTorrent crashes my computer and nothing can be done with this, only reset. When I set this to "50" everything works fine. Why uTorrent is hanging up my computer (or maybe its not uTorrent?)?

My specs:

CPU - Core2Duo E6420 (2,13 not OC'ed)

MoBo - Asus P5Q pro

RAM - 4x1GB (2x Patriot extreme 800MHz, 2x OCZ PE 800MHz)

GPU - Gigabyte Radeon X1950Pro 256/256 (will be changed soon)

My internet connection:

Wi-Fi Pci card (Pentagram P6121-L4 soft Ralink) <--> Wi-Fi router Linksys WAG 200G (most common), also notice that my IP is in DMZ zone to work better with p2p applications <--> ISP (TP neostrada 512/128 - will be changed to 1024/256 soon)

My antivirus software eset smart security, my system is Vista x64 SP1.

I don't know what it could be and how to fix it. Sometimes i need more than 50 connections, so please don't say that 50 is more than enough, because freezes shouldn't be happening, even when I'll set it to 999999..... .

If I haven't write any comp. spec or software, then just tell me which.

Anyway I think it's your wireless card. Did you update your driver?

Hmmm I've heard that it could be problem with some settings in windows with max tcpip connetcions but don't know which settings :|

RALink drivers are known to be buggy, especially on 64-bit Vista. Does the problem persist when you connect wired?

It will be hard to check this (i'll have to move whole computer to the other room), i'll try, but before this I would like to ask if there is any other option of checking this ? (other drivers, ms zero config. tool) ?

I have changed my drivers from these from Pentgram's site (06-2007) to Ralink ones (11-2008) and now everything seems to work fine. Thank you for advice with buggy ralink drivers!
