Psyro Posted February 28, 2009 Report Share Posted February 28, 2009 Hi Guys (& girls if there are any!),I've dropped azureus and have been using uTorrent for about 6-8 weeks now, but I have issues when I want to download more than 8-12 files at the same time.What happens is the whole system freezes, no tell tale signs or anything, everything just hangs. But only when there are more than 10 (ish) torrents activeI've tried the fixes in the stickies but nothing works, I have Avast AV software and i use peer guardian 2, but nothing else. Avast has P2P monitoring disabled, so thats not it. Dont have any firewalls other than windows. Any suggestions??Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted March 1, 2009 Report Share Posted March 1, 2009 Your network card may be crashing, and since that would be a HARDWARE crash...that freezes the whole computer. 1st and 2nd links in my signature...really, your line probably isn't rated for that many actively downloading torrents at once.
