jso416
I just started uploading use utorrent and I'm trying to figure out how to re-seed a created torrent after it's been removed from my utorrent menu. I need to learn this because for some reason I get a "cannot save error" message from utorrent every time I exit utorrent and close out my computer (But I guess that is another topic entirely). Can anyone help me with these issues ? Thanks.
moogly
To reseed a torrent if your have still the data: check folder %appdata%\utorrent to find the .torrent or retrieve it on the tracker. Then reload it and point to the folder where are your associated data. uT will force a recheck and seed it.
jso416
"%appdata%\utorrent" Where do I find this folder and how do I reload it ?
moogly
Type that in Win Explorer bar or Start > Search. If the .torrent is still inside this folder, open it with uT.
jso416
When I click open with utorrent, it begins to download instead of upload.
moogly
Because when you see the "Add new torrent" box, you have to point to the good folder where are your data.
