DFIII
I am a forum virgin and want to say hello. My question is I want to be able to seed more but I am limited on harddrive space and have to be constantly burning my files to make space on my harddrive. Should I asume that I need to increase my hardrive space to be able to seed more or is there another way. I know this is probably a weird question considering on most forums i see people asking about increasing their download speed which I wouldn't mind but since I switched to utorrent I have more system resorces available a can just let it sit in the backround. Anywho... Thanks to anyone who can give me CONSTRUCTIVE advice. (i have seen many rude responces from veterans on other forums. Just remember that you were new at one time too.)DFIII
Ultima
While you may be able to seed from your CD/DVD, it'll be highly suboptimal (slow, and it'll wear the drive down considerably). Indeed, the best way forward with continual seeding would be to increase your computer's available storage space.
Firon
Your best bet is to just buy another hard drive. They're incredibly cheap nowadays.Seeding off an optical drive isn't a good idea, since it's slow and the constant seeking WILL wear out your drive a lot quicker.
