dejavue
I have got the same problem. It happens EVERY time I exit uTorrent. I do not want to switch away from uTorrent.I have no antivirus software or anything similar installed and I have disabled any of the Windows 7 security features. I only use a router firewall and my brain against incoming "attacks" ;-)

paintball9
IPv6 problem again?
Goattee
I am having the same problem and have had it for the last couple of stable versions. Currently I am running 2.2 beta Build 22144.I have to let uTorrent process run for several minutes after manual shutdown of the program (have tried up to 30 minutes). Then I kill it in the Task Manager. If I am lucky, all the file handles have been closed by that point. But occasionally after restarting uTorrent I have to run forced recheck (or it invokes the recheck automatically in some cases).
moogly
IPv6 kernel bug. MS should release a patch with Win 7 SP1.
Firon
The problem will not go away until SP1 for Windows 7, since MS did not want to release a separate hotfix.
paintball9
The link in my sig for disabling IPv6 should suffice until a fix is released.
