Flopper
I have been using (and recommending) utorrent for years now, no problems worth noting, however there is one issue that still puzzles me.When I set an upload limit, not all active uploads are shown. If I look in the All category, sort by upload speed, I can see them.If I then set Upload to Unlimited, they start to show in the Active category too.Mostly, this happens with slow uploads, the ones below 1 kB/s.This also happens when I limit certain torrents to prioritize others.Related: Download speed drops significantly when I set the Upload to Unlimited. Tried with Preferences - Queueing - Seeding task .. Checked and Unchecked.Version : 1.8.2 14458 on Vista Ultimate 32 bitreinstall does not help, and this was already so with previous version.Anyone any ideas?Thank youMarc
schnurlos
From http://download.utorrent.com/utorrent-help.zip :Active only shows torrent jobs that are actively being transferred, whether it is downloading or seeding. Downloading torrent jobs must be downloading at rates above the value specified by "queue.slow_dl_threshold" to be considered active. Seeding torrent jobs must be uploading at rates above the value specified by "queue.slow_ul_threshold" to be considered active. Both values are 1000 (Bytes) by default, means around 1kB for each. In your case you should lower this values to 100 (0.1kB) or so.
