lolo006 Posted March 8, 2009 Report Share Posted March 8, 2009 Hello,I never have had problems with µtorrent until last month.When I open µtorrent, the status is always "checking", and it really going slow.But sometimes, while it's checking, i lose the part i've download already, so i have to do it over again.Is there a way that it stops with checking the data.I think it began when i have had the "famous" error: disk overloaded 100% but i'm not sure.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But right now i see when i close µtorrent and i mean the correct way to close it that the µtorrent.exe file is still on the taskbar so it's still working, it's very strange.So maybe that's the case of the problem that last month µtorrent never closed correctly? lolo006 Posted March 10, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2009 Hello,No I have windows xp and I don't have zonealarm but I found the solution.My harddisk was set in PIO-mode instead of DMA mode and that's why my computer was very slow so µtorrent didn't closed fast.And Ultima, it helped what you told me so thank you for the answer.
