graystrickland
uTorrent allow you the option of saving your .torrent files in a different path than the files (eg. AVI, MKV, MP4, etc.) you download. I paused all torrents, then set the preference for my .torrent files to be saved to a new path, then shutdown uTorrent 1.8.2, moved all of the .torrent files to the new path, then restarted uTorrent. However, now all of my downloads have the dreaded Big Red X and the comment "Error: can't open .torrent file [full path and name of lost torrent]"How do I inform uTorrent where the .torrent files are now so that these errors can be cleared? Note: I did check the FAQ before posting this question.
DreadWingKnight
The change of that setting isn't retroactive to already loaded torrents. You will likely need to remove and reload all tasks to get things working in the new location.
