olliebeak Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 Is the a way of adding all the torrents i have in my folder I had a hd crash and had to reinstall the system hd but all the files i have for sharing were on another drive now i have to add each file/folder one by one to the utorrent list etci do have a back up of systen files do you know which file in utorrent folder keeps track of up/downloads i could extract that file and put it in the new utorrent folder i am running xp pro sp3cheers Jim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

moogly Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 Your history and settings are in folder %appdata%\utorrent. You can back up this folder (if you saved it before reinstalling the OS) and uT should restart with your previous torrents. The drive letter or the path of torrents doesn't have to change of course.Anyway if you didn't back up %appdata%\utorrent, you can use migration guide, especially the chapter about autoload function to load a batch of torrenrs: http://www.utorrent.com/migration_guide.php Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
