Silent Install of utorrent client

Does Utorrent support a silent installation, say as a batch line?

I just use uTorrent.exe /PERFORMINSTALL 2 with uTorrent 1.8.2

Works fine for me in WinXP, Vista, and Win 7

hmmmm . . . can't seem to get this to work. I put this line in a batch file. I typed the line directly from an administrative prompt. I'm using Vista x64 and am trying to automate utorrent.exe on a small set of machines. Do I need a different version of utorrent? The FAQ says something about needing an installer version. Help?

This /PERFORMONSTALL seemed works, but it was on a system pollued bye a previous installation.... Arggggggg!

I face the same problem than you, i try harder to solve it.

Thanks, schnurios! But how can i do silent install with that?

I tried all commands in batch, and nothing works as /PERFORMINSTALL /NORUN with older version (i.e 1.7.7).

We need a true silent install as olders'ones for populate easily our systems.

Does /PERFORMINSTALL do nothing at all?

Simply that parameter and nothing else.

I got a silent instal solution through this post

1. Get the %cab

2. Extract it in a folder

3.Add in this folder the last uTorrent.exe

4. perform a silent install via command line like this :

Start /wait /Folder/utorrentSilentScript.exe

This work fine for me in XP, Vista, and W7.
