buymeapc
I have a computer running the latest version of uTorrent (1.8.2) and I want to limit the seeding bandwith during certain hours of the day to say, 30KB/s and then resume to full throttle after the period is over. I set up the scheduler and the limit rates. The status bar shows the seed is being limited, but the upload/download speeds remain full throttle.Even if I manually limit the seed's bandwith, the speed remains as high as it will go. What could I be doing wrong? Thanks
DreadWingKnight
Any force started torrents?Could you also screenshot your scheduler preferences so we can see them?
buymeapc
I don't force start any torrents, no. I'm assuming that in order to do that, you need to right click on it and select force start and it's not auto assigned when the torrent is created? Here's my prefs showing the scheduler:Thanks for the help! DreadWingKnight
Is it between 7A and 7P local time right now where you are (on the machine you're running uTorrent on)?Do you have any per-torrent speed limits set?
buymeapc
Currently, it's 4:22PM EST where I am. No, I do not have any per-torrent speed limits set. I figured everything would work globally.
DreadWingKnight
Do you see an L: in the status bar of uTorrent anywhere?
buymeapc
I don't see an L:, but here's a shot of the status bar:Sorry, it's kinda small...
