marlau
Went to install ipfilter into Application Data and noticed that everything I ever downloaded is listed there, including downloads that I have deleted. What is the function of this folder and what is safe to delete?ThanksMarlau
moogly
%appdata%\utorrent contains mainly your history (resume.dat) and settings (settings.dat) plus files about DHT and RSS. You find your .torrents saved in this folder by default. You can add in this folder files about IP filtering (ipfilter.dat), skins (.ico, .bmp), lang pack etc.You don't need to erase it, and you have to back up it if you change your HD etc...Of course you can erase .torrents you don't want anymore (or just use Remove .torrent in uT). Firon
It is not safe to delete. You should, in general, not touch that folder, unless you are completely removing uTorrent from your system (or trying to make backups)
