DreadWingKnight
So you downgrade to an unsupported version instead of providing a link to the crash dump? You also downgrade before posting hijackthis logs and process explorer process lists with the dll list for the utorrent.exe process? starsenvoy
How I can provide link to crash dump? uTorrent crash at startup and don`t send crush dump to developments...Thank You!
Firon
The crash dumps should be stored in the same directory as the executable. If it's crashing before that, you may be able to get a crash dump with ntsd. I believe ntsd is supported on NT4.When it freezes again... You can actually force a crash dump to be generated, like so:In the Windows Task Manager or Process Explorer, look for the [PID] of the µTorrent process. From there, File > Run > ntsd.exe -p [PID] -e [PID] -c ".dump c:\jit.dmp;q"where [PID] needs to be replaced with the PID of the µTorrent process found in the process list viewer (don't include square brackets). The resulting dump can be found as c:\jit.dmp. Do this when µTorrent hangs, and post the dump.Upload the dump to mediafire.com or zshare.net. Firon
Yeah, we don't really support 95 anymore. 98/ME support will probably be totally removed at some point in the future.
starsenvoy
Maybe You need simply return to 1.7.7 sources. moogly
Or upgrade your OS if you can, because Win95 is a dead OS and very limiting for many applications.
Switeck
Windows 98/ME, even though considerably better than Win 95, have considerable limitations as well.FAT32 limiting individual filesizes to <4 GB, cannot use extended character sets, no IPv6, and effectively limited to 1 GB of ram or less. Firon
We'll more than likely fix NT if possible, but 9x/ME will be dropped totally at some point, as they're completely dead platforms and not worth the development time to support.
