Xax
I searched the forums, thinking this was probably a common issue, but I found nothing. I realize it's a Firefox problem, and not with uTorrent (most likely). If I go into Firefox's Options, into Applications, and tell it to run uTorrent for .torrent files, it'll work just fine. However, after approximately a week or two, Firefox will just start saving .torrent files to my default save location. If I go back into Firefox's Application settings, it'll be set to save, rather than run uTorrent.Any ideas as to why this happens? uTorrent is the only application I have installed that uses .torrents. moogly
Try that: http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#.C2.B5Torrent_won.27t_open_torrent_files_even_though_I_associated_torrents_with_it
Xax
I did see that mentioned in the FAQ, but it wasn't helpful for my situation unfortunately. The problem is that once I associate torrents with uTorrent within Firefox, it's like Firefox "forgets" a week or two later.
Ultima
Hrm. Are you sure your Firefox profile isn't somehow corrupted? Try with a fresh Firefox profile (or perhaps Portable Firefox) and see if the problem persists after a while?
